Now, it's down to Izzo or most of the Catspause intelligencia will be forced to take backwater. "If we can't git Donuvun, Caliparee, or Izzeaux, we shood just keep Billy fer anuther yeer."

Dick Gabriel seems to think Cal is still in play. Says that Cal doesn't have the kind of support staff in Memphis that UK could offer.

I personally think that they will be stuck chasing Izzo, and if he is half as smart as he appears he will not touch it with a ten foot pole.

no he won't. He always has football to fall back......oh, nevermind.

I realize women's basketball isn't exactly a priority up there, but their best hope for success, Mickie DeMoss left after seeing what Gillispie was getting paid - at least, I'm pretty sure that was a major contributing factor.

From a UK board.

I just got a text from a buddy of mine in Glendale.

He and a few friends of mine this morning saw a limo pull outside the hotel where Memphis is staying, pretty early this morning their time to be honest. Seemed a little out of place given how early it was. And out from it stepped none other than John Calipari, who looked pretty tired. And after he stepped out, he wiped something off the bottom of his shoe before walking inside to the hotel lobby. My friends got up close and investigated, and it was definitely horse manure, you can't mistake that smell. Did a certain head coach make a late night trip to check out some horse farms? I think so... I'll keep you all updated.

Leave it to UK fans to trace Calipari coming to UK by using HORSES#$T as proof. WTF.

I am running out of sympathy to keep defending our program. lol

No reason Cal would leave the program he created, with a top 5 recruiting class coming in next year and his huge conference win streak to pick up the mess at UK. Memphis fans seem pretty loyal and it's not like he can't compete for national titles there.

I'm glad Donovan has already said no. Donovan to UK wouldn't have helped either party.

Some of the posters on VN have even more grandiose visions of who UK will get than the posters on catspause.

I have no clue who they will get, but I can't help but thinking that Barnhart has SOMETHING already done or he wouldn't be repeating this process so soon. If he doesn't have a deal already, he's a fool.

And I don't think that he is one. Stay tuned, this could get...

...entertaining.

I vote that the boosters crammed this down his throat and he's going to be stuck.
