I don’t want to attack a kid, but if I had to guess, he will not be in Knoxville next season.

Feel the same. Want a free ride for an education? Appy State, Marshall, Toledo, Georgia Southern, Miami (Oh), etc other G5 schools would welcome him...when you come to an SEC school there are expectations for performance and, quite frankly, a discussion I had with one of my own, in the SEC (and Big10, ACC) you are not a student athlete. You are an athlete that attends class that is a nuiscance at times with you being an athlete. That's the reality of the situation today. Coaches have life changing money on the line and they may talk the talk of "student-athlete" but we all know the reality of it.

Heupel is the one who put him in the game and dialed up a pass to him in the red zone. That should have gone to Nimrod or Webb. Thornton should have been moved to the bottom of the depth chart last week. Poor coaching decision

I’m not giving up on him yet. He should share some time with Chas and Webb but i think he’s one we ought to keep.

Our coaches were praising him, etc. in pre season. He needs to move on. It’s 14-0 if he catches that ball that hit his hands.
Should of been any way. We got a
1st and goal after he dropped it.

Should of caught it but unless he takes it in and scores which I don’t think he would, it had no effect on our score.

He was terrified of getting hit. Felt the DB/Safety coming at him and made a "business decision."

And now he has no more business to transact at UT. He made his choice to not give his all today for Tennessee

And that's a fact. Playing that SOFT, he should Transfer to USC. My God, the ball was perfect, and that could have been the play that broke bammers back. Take the Scholly AND NIL. And Keaton drops as many as He catches. Geeze, do your Job! Especially vs bama, cuz they getting the calls..

His future business will not include the NFL.

Hooker wasn’t a heupel portal guy
True dat. Heupel was sold on Milton before he ever took a snap at UT. I noticed Heupel late in the game yesterday mouthed the words, "What are you doing????" to Milton. Perhaps he's not so sold any longer, but this time there's no experienced Hooker waiting in the wings to bail him out.
