Dont call it a rebuild

Coach Caldwell in her post presser last night said this was not a rebuild year. She mentioned others we're saying wait till she gets her players in. She said these ARE her players. The seniors on the team elected to stay and play for her, so this is her team. Good for her..sounds a lot like Pat reincarnate.

This is a NEW ERA.

Rebuild compared to What? Our dynasty years absolutely Rebuild to being sweet 16 team then No talent is there for this. Coach Kim believes in her team and that they can achieve Final 4 type run which as a fan I Love because she will never be satisfied. But as a objective student of the game we are short in post. In what I mean to get to championship level. Swap LSU Marrow with our big and we are undefeated Period. So we are closer than we think but yet not there either. In CHRIST Alone

Happily have him blocked like I did you until you started initiating the game threads.
This still you? “never won their respect by being a jerk. Human Interaction 101.” - Lucy

Don’t be upset with me or Danny White for being honest, Human Interaction 101

But funny you knew who it was. You sweet on me, you ole fussy butt. Blocking is for the weak minded.

Been impressed with Coach Caldwell and the way she owns the moment. 3 points away from being a top team and the issues and losses are on her, she needs to do better. It's nice to have a coach that owns the moment and the team.

working refs with a cool, confident manner" is NOT effective. Pleading with a ref is not effective...They respect the coach that "works" them, not the coach that charms them.

Been coaching for 44 years and watching the game for 49,,,this has never changed,,,be it pro, ncaa, aau, rec,,,only in church ball

What do you consider "working" a ref?

IMO it mostly happens pre game and half time

when the calls are decidedly in the other teams advantage,,,a player gets centered o ut,,,or anything that shows any sign of partiallity,,,I am in that zebra's ear until I see wax. I will take a tech to put the focus on me and off of my kids.

Refs "hate pleading coaches",,,, that is a quote from the head of the referee chapter in Atlanta. They hate to be called "hey ref",,,they have a name and it is up to the coach to know it and use it.

They want to be worked,,,some thrive on it,,,others disdain it,,,you have to know your refs per game and understand this.

If a ref makes me/me team uncomfortable it is my job to make them uncomfortable.

You have to understand that refs know the rules, not the game itself, as a coach does,,,like the difference between a person who know what they want a computer TO do and the person who knows what a computer CAN do,,,both have very different outlooks and perceptions.

The job of a referee is to "not be noticed",,,they have done a great job if they are not a factor of the game or its outcome. No one is impressed with the win/loss record of a ref.

When you properly work a ref, they don't want to be addressed by you again,,,THAT is when you have properly worked a ref.

Nah. Crawling their ass when they make the egregiously bad calls. Ya need a little coaching capital or it can work against you and your team. There is a line there. Different refs have different lines. Which Crew Chiefs are going to step in and generate their own tv time? It’s delicate.
