I am hoping for a good, competitive game for a majority of the game but UT just does not have the depth on offense or defense for a shootout which is what this game will become. Try not to come on this site blasting everyone or calling for a coaching change if the Vols are not victorious on Saturday. It is what it is right now. UT is still in a rebuilding phase.

Your cause is noble but in vain.

who has called for a coaching change?

Not you, this we know.

And I think he's talking about after Saturday's game, which is in the future.

That said, I'll make oregonvol's point for him. If people question the game plan, the play-calling, the decision-making by the coaches, etc., it doesn't mean they are calling for the staff to be fired.

The ones who do any criticizing will get called out as not being true fans. I can't wait to see what the standards are this week to be a Vol fan.

I've successfully deflated the homer tank enough that short of being skunked I will not be shocked or saddened. That said it's depressing what a fan has to do to mentally prepare for a real sec foe these days.

Ain't this the truth.

At some point we will sneak up on somebody. Probably not this Saturday but hopefully I am alive to witness it when it happens.

Proud to be a vols fan!

I've seen enough of this team to not get my hopes up. Hoping for the best, not expecting it though.

It's what drives us to the infighting most times. People are just sick and tired of being sick and tired of loving a team that can't get it's **** together.

It's called hoping against hope.
A weekly ritual around my home.
I envy the younger crowd who has never seen this program where we have.
