but I'm gonna miss the politics forum come Nov 6, when all of this election buzz is gone and there's little to bicker over.

I have very thoroughly enjoyed this crew, even those with whom I vehemently disagree. I enjoy roughing up some feathers and mixing it up. This place has been all of that and more and it's due to the regulars who spend their time here.

Thanks, in advance.

PS. 'til the 5th is here, all you Obama worshipers are still idiots to me.

It will restart in January when the Candy Man starts "sprinkling us with dew". The Obamanites will have to defend the lunacy.

It can't be any harder for us than it was for Bush supporters for all those years. Of course, there weren't too many of those on this board.

but the vigor will be traded for somber resignation. It's hard to work up the energy for debate when reality is reaming you in the can.

This forum will not fade away. You people have seen the UT football program, correct? Not much to talk about there.

That's fine, just remember that if you were one of those asses that called me un-Patriotic for questioning GW (not saying you were) that it goes both ways.

Although I feel like Adm Stockdale wandering around this place sometimes, I'm glad to be here. Can't wait to see what happens over the next four years.

If Obama gets in office this forum will be needed more than ever. Inexperienced Dem pres with a loony Dem Congress? Sounds promising...:cray:

I will say posts will go down since many won't be able to afford internet access anymore (unless that is now a right too)

Also notverycrucial won't be able to start a Sarah Palin thread every 6 hours.

Exactly. Saying I told you so never gets old. Just ask my wife.

I've had a lot of fun here as well. The action may die down a little but I think that those who have a true passion for politics will always be lurking around this forum. I have a feeling that in the coming months there wil be plenty to talk about here.
