Dook going down to the terps....

Vasquez's last shot was completely luck but it went in and it was awesome.

It won't. Losing on the road to a conf co-champ happens. The other contenders for the spot just have no business there.

Yeah, its not a bad loss by any means. However, if they won it I think the case was sealed.

Losing leaves for Ohio State, who is playing awesome right now. Unless they slip, I think Ohio State takes the 4th #1 seed.

OSU has the best argument and probably the best team. Typically, Duke could lean on their ACC schedule to help their argument, but the ACC sucks right now.

Indeed. 25-5 in the ACC beats 27-7 in the Big Ten year in/year out, normally. Not this season.

Since I was at TBA tonight I missed the first half. Everything turned out pretty much like I imagined. I'll probably set down and watch the first half in a minute before I go to bed.

Still haven't gotten over 1992 I see.

Nah, its more than that. There are so many other reasons to hate Dook. When Billy Packer almost wept because Magloire bent Wojo like a pretzel. All of the Greg Paulus "flops".

I just don't like them in principal, 1992 be damned.

Billy Packer is no Duke fan. I promise you.

No, but he certainly has ALWAYS been a "Anybody playing Kentucky" fan. This state hates him with an unbridled passion. When he poured out his heart for little Wojo, it was just impossible to hold it in any longer.

Millions of televisions were turned off in favor of the radio broadcast when he used to do the CBS games.

Being a Tar Heel fan, it REALLY pains me to say this, but with what should be a second victory over Carolina this Saturday, Dook will have two wins over what would be a 5-11 ACC team that easily handled both Ohio State and Michigan State. I know that's an apples and oranges comparison, but those losses would look bad for OSU and MSU (bottom tier ACC team), thus would probably give Dook the lean over OSU. Here's to hoping Carolina ruins Senior Night at Cameron, Dook loses in the first round of the ACC Tournament, and the #1 seed argument will no longer apply.

they are... but damn I love watching them when they get duke at home. 'jj is ridiculous-ly gay' is the best sign in the history of college athletics, end of story.

I've got no love for Duke, trust me.

Maryland's students did the same "F U" chant when Redick was there, and clearly they don't know how to act when they win. Twenty-seven students were arrested following the game last night.

I know it's ultimately wrong and that they probably didn't have any business storming the court to begin with.

with that said, I do admit I have a deviant side that enjoys it.

I don't, not when it's directed at a specific player who's done nothing whatsoever to provoke the crowd.

I can't believe I'm defending Duke.

I believe he was referring to the storming of the court, not regarding a specific player.

I am a big proponent of sportsmanship and controlling student behavior. College athletes should not be subjected to abuse thats stems from borderline hatred. In theory it never should have happened.

All I'm saying is, if it had to happen, it couldn't have happened to a better school. :)
