When Dooley was hired I posted that he was a poor hire, he didn't have the experience or the accomplishments i.e. the resume to lead the Vols. I predicted that his first team would do well to win 5 games and I have made the same prediction in his second and now in his third year. I was savaged on here called everything but a fan, accused of being a troll and many people said they were putting my post on ignore. DUH. I was right all along and you were just wrong.
Now everyone is wanting to tar and feather Dooley. Dooley is a great guy and I hope that he continues to coach somewhere if he is fired by UT and someday I hope he will be a great coach.
Now I'm going to make another prediction, Pat Summitt and her mystique is gone and her dynasty is over. Tennessee women's bb program will never again dominate as it has in the past. Just as UCLA will never again see a John Wooden.
It is my opinion that Coach Martin is a good basketball coach and Tennessee will have good bb teams under his reign. He is not a great coach and Tn will not compete with KY and Fla and Al under him in my opinion. I am not saying that we will never beat any of these teams again I'm saying that year in and year out we will be a middle of the pack team and when we do defeat these programs it will be an upset.
I believe we will go back to being pretty much the same as we were before coach Pearl came in here and made TN a top caliber program. I doubt that this years team for all its talent will get to the NCAA or if it does, will not get past the 1st or second round. In a couple of year I expect all the koolaid drinkers on here will be calling for the firing of Martin and Warwick.

Okay god.We know that you can predict the future. And 2nd.Learn to spell Warlick's name right when judging her.

What finally pushed me over the edge was the fact we held them to something like 68 yards total offense in the first half. Then they make a few adjustments and we can't. That is coaching, plain and simple. And then the end of regulation was salt in an open wound. I pulled for Dooley until yesterday. But that was inexcusable.
