hey. we finish 2nd in the sec east. there is nothing wrong with that when the no.1 team in the sec east has the number 1 recruiting class in the whole country.

Overall, I think we hit a 2-run homerun today. We ended up with a pretty awesome class.:dance2::clapping:

If we were able to keep Copleand and land Robinson, I think we hit a grand slam with all things considered. I am completely happy with what CDD and staff was able to do.

Looking forward to the Fall. :td:

Finished weaker than I thought we would, but relieved Rogers and Stone stuck with us. Not a bad haul for two weeks of recruiting. Hope Dooley is a better coach than Kiffin.

Finished weaker..........? Dude, we are around the #10 spot three weeks after a coaching change. We're damned lucky we don't have a class full of 1 and 2 star players under the circumstances.

We just ripped the top player from Georgia along with keeping most everyone from the previous staff's class. I don't call that finishing weak. I call that perservering.

Getting Brown qualified becomes a lynchpin of the class.

We filled our needs solidly. Hard to ask for more from CDD given the circumstances.

If Brown qualifies, and we get 3 to 4 DTs next class (including 1-2 JUCOs) we should be ok in that area.

If Brown doesn't qualify, our lack of DTs this class will hurt in 3-4 years.

I believe we backcounted 2 of our EE's to last year, which would give us 4 to backcount for this year if I'm not mistaken. That would give us 29 plus 3 sign and place for next year.

I think it will hurt in the near future, not in the later future, cause next year Tenn will be all over the top DT's, and they would be foolish IMO to not sign with Tenn because of early playing time.

For those of you that are confused, think of it this way. We used our 2 back counts and then signed 23 for this class. That's 2 under the 25 limit so those 2 will can be used to add to next year's class. That's assuming that everyone we signed gets in. If we have non-qualifiers then that adds to our back count total for next year. We won't "lose" any unused back counts from this class.

We basically just nailed the hometowns virgin prom queen and split.

IMO we are not done. I think that we will take Glass and Robinson if they want to come.
