Speaking of the state of Texas, regardless of whether we "steal" any recruits from the U, do we have guy on our staff who is a TX recruiter?? I thought i'd ask since recruiting is oft done by regional assignments.

Can anyone tell me exactly how a home visit goes?

I take it you have to schedule it with the recruit. How long do you stay? How many can a coach do in a day or does it just depend on distance between? And who goes out and does the visits, all coaches?

According to Scout.com we are involved with 11 or 18 remaining 5*. I haven't been watching closely. Has this improved a lot in the past month?

I have been hearing a couple coaches went west to Memphis and one to Georgia and two to Florida. My source's are trying to find out which coaches went where. GBO!!!

Am hearing that now that Shannon is gone from Miami there is a push on with the few recruits we were looking at from there. GBO!!!

I wouldn't believe that. Scout inflates the number of 5* players as opposed to all the other recruiting services. I guess one mans 4* is another mans 5*. The true number of recruits that are actually interested in Tennessee is more like 3-5* players. Recruiting is a two way street. One has to be interested in you back for it to work.

"This aircraft (N111UT) is not available for tracking per request from the owner/operator"

this is from Flight Aware that tracks aircraft. This started last year after Kitten left IIRC...GBO!

Dooley and Chaney were at Richardson's house last night. Dooley and Bagget are going to Memphis to watch Clear's basketball game tonight.

Someone (probably Chuck) will be visiting Wright soon.

Joseph will see Moore probably tomorrow with a chance of Wednesday.

Dooley and Bagget will see Clear on Tuesday.

Chuck Smith will probably see Atlanta running back Marcus Caffey likely tomorrow.

Dooley and Hiestand will see Marcus Jackson Thursday.

Bagget will see Arnett Friday.

It looks like they'll hit the early enrollee guys this week too. Not postive yet but that's what it's looking like.

Bigelow said they were coming this week but he wasn't sure what day.

We'll be checking in on guys all week.

Add Dooley and Thompson to see Brian Randolph on Wednesday.

Last year it was fun to track where the coaches were going. Thats what got me through the month with no TN football in December.

I don't see CDD flying in on a helicopter to recruits houses for in home visits (Kiffin last year for HS games in ATL).

As long as CDD gets the players TN needs that is what counts. But hopefully we have some good sources here on VN that can keep us up to date on the coaches trips.

I spoke to Chuck Smith this morning at Mcghee Tyson. He was flying Delta to Atl, then to Columbus Ga. to see Gabe Wright. I didn't see Dooley, but Chuck said he would be joining him.
