A lot to thank Dooley for in terms of the quality talent he leaves behind, but I'm glad we are moving on. Dooley didn't have what it takes, and this season provided ample evidence of that. Best wishes to him and his family.

"During the last 34 months, I've given my all for Tennessee, and our family appreciates all this University and the Knoxville community has given us."

He's a classy guy, even as he walks out the door.

BS. The talent is there for a great coach to start winning immediately.

Are you serious? The talent we do have is leaving after this season, and the talent we have coming back have been starters on one of the slowest and poorest executing teams in Tennessee history. Yeah we are stockpiled!

the DD Show is filmed AFTER every game so the show today was like a normal show i watched it..they acted like he was still going to coach the UK game and trying to get better and blah blah blah...and he was told this morning he was not being retained....

Glad the decision has finally been made official. Thanks Coach Dooley for being willing to tackle the mess. I truly believe you did the best you could. Sorry it didn't work out.

Now let's get a real coach that will generate positive news and results on and off the field! These players deserve it!
