Not to pile on the man has been fired already but.....

Dooley never really did anything to fire up the fan base. I have felt he alienated the fans and tried to keep the program in a bubble all to itself. I also thought he didn't really want the fans to get excited because it would raise expectations. Right or wrong on Dooley I hope the new coach makes an effort to rally the fan base and make former players feel more welcome and actually encourages them to be a part of the program. Most head coaches are control freaks to some extent but Dooley was over the top.

Yeah, he had a lot of issues. Definitely was not fan friendly

I think he has spent the last few months doing the exact same thing he has done his entire life.....looking for other places to place the blame. Some guys are just like that.

Coming soon... Derek Dooley as 1AA special teams coach. Can't stand the guy since that gutless call to let the game clock run out against Mizzou.

I wonder what the meaning of this tweet is? It seems kind of odd if you ask me. Coming soon.. he probably screwed us over and the curse will hit us and in a month we will get allegations that dave hart pulled a sandusky and jim chaney was involved too. Dooley is a jerk.

Not gonna lie...his first tweet did make me laugh and I don't know why. It seems like he has no clue how to use twitter lol

Nothing unusual about discussing a recently dismissed 3rd year coach who was historically bad.

Kiffin has been gone 3 years and his follies are frequent fodder on VN.

Speaking of coaches using Twitter, I heard that one of Fulmer's daughters is actually the one who post most all of his twitters. According to a recent interview I heard him do, he said he rarely, if ever, uses it himself, and I bet this is the case with about all of the coaches. I would say that most all of them have someone else doing the twittering for them.

trusted assistant? he never got beyond TE coach. that's how much he was trusted. worst hire in our history. worst coach ever. 1-7,0-7. i respect him him so much for quitting and not coaching the last game. coward, loser, quitter. the trifecta.

Coming soon: maybe, new coach, wins in the SEC, recruiting in the tri state area, baby on the way, sold out stadium, NASCAR(again), spring training, fiscal cliff, XMAS, end of the world...hell who knows.
