Looking back on Dooley's tenure (away from the Doolaid) I have compiled Dooley's Seven Minimums from my perspective.

Dooley’s Seven Minimums

1)Mistakes Happen…. Don’t learn from them…but, work hard and go on to the next mistake

2)Play for the plan, when a break comes your way- pooch punt

3)If at first the game- or the breaks- go against you, quit....

4) Protect the opposing teams Kickers, their QB, and create the appearance of competitiveness

5) Ball, what’s an oskie?, chase offense players around, take bad angles, arm tackle… for this is the LOSING EDGE.

6) Squander the clock. Here is where breaks are aborted.

7)Fight at 75% of your capability and try to stay there for 45 minutes

I think that these 7 minimums can be used as an outline for failure... They are not that hard to follow for sure.

Geez people please move on. I'm almost ashamed I wasted my time commenting.

Funny what happens between coaches. This bashing will end when the next coach is named.

Dude is clearly a virgin. How about this for your maxims:

1. Go to ATM
2. Get out your last $32.52
3. Find a street walker
4. Get busy. This maxim should take you 3 - 4 seconds
5. Relieve your stress and anxiety
6. Go home and cry
7. Leave the Dools alone. It's over man.

Seriously, quit already. This is not a forum to complain, make fun of, or discuss UT football and its past.

Oh wait, thats exactly what it is. Carry on.

You're saying this to a group that has people who still post almost daily about Kiffin (both good and bad) and about Fulmer coming back.

This isn't a group known for "moving on".

This, he is gone, why are people still bashing. Not a supporter but dang he has moved on so should others.

if it's still ok to bash the coach who actually won football games (fulmer), than it should be ok to give dooley grief.....until the end of time

Dooley is a Tennessee Legend now.

It should be every UT fan's god-given right whenever the Vols seize defeat from the jaws of victory (especially against Florida a la 2012) to ask:

"Dangit, did they let Dooley back in?"

While I find this humorous, it's not really necessary. For me anyways, the pain of the past several years of suck will subside quickest when we start discussing the bright future ahead.
