Double reverses

Did we even run a double reverse this year? Did we even throw a halfback pass?
Despite everyone having fun with this at your expense, there's nothing wrong with the question.

The answer is that those plays work against defenses that get extremely focused on pursuit or on one section of the field. Those plays get the ball to where there aren't many defenders (hopefully).

Heupel's offense works on the opposite premise, that scattering the defenders from sideline-to-sideline on every play creates exploitable one-on-ones, and often with no deep help.

So you could say that Heupel's offensive scheme makes every play a trick play, exploiting the defense at its weakest area.

In all seriousness, I am surprised that our receivers never fake the screen run a route up the sideline.

I don't seem to recall us calling a Fumblerooskie either.......

Or a center sneak.
I still want to see a quick kick on third down sometime. Might have been good in some of those games when we couldn’t convert a third down to save our lives 😳

I can’t believe we didn’t incorporate quantum physics into any of our plays.
EVERY play incorporates Quantum physics man. 😂
But seriously, it would be great if the defender could know either the position or the velocity of the ball; but not both. THAT would be awesome
