Poor ole Nick; the game has passed him by.
You could see that look on Saban's face and just know that he knew they were going to lose again. Biggest issue for bama was that they couldn't keep that athletic LSU QB from getting loose and weaving his way through the Bama secondary. Gotta say it looks like it might be Saban's time to consider stepping down. He simply looks worn down.Did the elephants loose, or did the referees screw them over? Or was it a case of they beat themselves?
Alabama doesn’t simply loose.
I'll be curious to see who they target to replace Saban. Even more....who wants to take over for a man who is arguably the greatest college coach of all time? As the saying goes, you won't want to be the man to replace a legend. You want to be the guy who replaces the guy who replaced the legend. You know they'll expect to grab the best of the best. Can't see Dabo there. Kirby won't leave UGA for bama. No way. Wouldn't it be bitter irony to see Kiffin leading Bama? Would Urban step in to a program with those expectations since that was one reason he left UF. Said the pressure wasn't good for his health. Talk about a tough job to fill. Whew.Alabama heading to a New Year's Six Bowl Game which i think will be Nick Saban's last game coaching college football.
Didn't want to sound like a jerk, but have noticed him all season getting to the play just after the guy is down, fashionably late to the party. Our LB's seem to always be involved in making the play. Sour grapes, maybe, I just supposed he would be more of an impact player in a system with a better supporting cast than he had here. I am no expert, but I don't see him developing into what he was built up to be. He was a 5 star can't miss LB recruit. I am not sure about Mitchell but our other 2 starters were playing other positions when recruited meaning they had to learn the position. Beasley has really grown from last year, Banks appears more disciplined. I am not even sure Crouch, the other starter in 2020 is even playing, My untrained eye sees someone doing a decent job of developing guys, nice change huh?I tried to follow number 10 on defense (Henry T.) Saw him whiff quite a bit. Just looked up his stats. He had 3 solo tackles against LSU, one counted as a sack. Shouldn't a middle linebacker have better numbers than that? I thought we'd miss him. In hindsight..........

At this point, I don’t think another loss by bama can hurt us soooooooo, I’m gonna go on and say it.
