Down goes Vandy

The OP presumes that Vandy was ever “up”?

Perhaps they would improve if their entire team was made up of girl soccer players.

0-11 losing streak. 651 days since Vanderbilt won a football game. I salute you, Randy Sanders!

Vanderbilt is a 21½-point favorite against ETSU and its fourth-year coach, Randy Sanders, who was a quarterback at Tennessee from 1984-88 and then served on the Vols' staff from 1989-2005. He coached, at various times, quarterbacks, running backs and receivers before a stint as offensive coordinator, including on Tennessee's 1998 national championship team.

Saturday Predictions: ETSU at Vanderbilt - Anchor Of Gold

The Pick: Vanderbilt 38, ETSU 14

The Pick: Vanderbilt 31, ETSU 6

The Pick: Vanderbilt 28, ETSU 3

The Pick: Vanderbilt 41, ETSU 10

Vandy has been almost dead last in both men and women's basketball the last 2 or 3 seasons. And losing to ETSU at home and only scoring 3 points. Vandy has baseball and I guess bowling. Anchor down just works for them. Inexcusable loss. I'd love to know the true attendance(22K announced🤣🤣🤣🤣)at tonight's game in Nashville. More at one honky tonk or 2 than the crowd tonight? Vandy collects that SEC check though.

This is what happens when you roll Div I SEC college sports into the intramural sports! Lol

If Vandy were to apply to be in the another conference, I would have to pity that conference. Their viewership numbers would go down.

At least we know why all the trees in East Tennessee lean slightly to the west. Vandy sucks.

We could run hb dives all game and win by 50 against Vandy this year lol
I agree but hate to think that just might be all the offense we have. Our QB isn't some fresh-faced kid that just got his first live game experience after High School and we didn't discover him in some hitherto unknown little Junior college program somewhere. If player development was going to make him into a successful power 5 QB...don't you think Michigan has a pretty decent cadre of coaches in place for that ?? I'm concerned that by now, he is what he is.

Anything can happen!....except the NCS scenario you mentioned. This isn't the X-Files!

May not be the X-Files, but anything can happen. Meaning no disrespect or snarkiness whatsoever, neither you nor I have the power to dictate what will or will not happen. There could be a natural disaster, even a targeted Covid variant, man-made disaster, an impossibly shocking UT season, or anything that could result in our being in the NCS. I hope we get there on our own merits. That being said, I can and will dream, even the impossible dream. The doubters be damned.
