Dr Who

Ukweli Roach would make an outstanding new Doctor Who. Currently he is on Blindspot as Dr. Borden.

Peter Capaldi announced that the new companion has been cast. The rumor making the rounds right now is that an actress named April Pearson is the one who has been cast in the role.

I apologize if this is already known but it will air over here the same time as it does in the UK.

Thanks! I actually did not know that, it's why I made sure to say "in the UK". That's cool because the past couple seasons at least always aired before it did in the US.

Actually those seasons aired the same time over here too. They do it to avoid spoilers the best they can.

I distinctly remember getting an issue of Entertainment Weekly talking about how Clara is leaving the show several episodes before it even aired here in the US. They knew this only because the season had already aired in the UK. It was a total spoiler for people who hadn't even gotten that far into the season.

It was announced that she wouldn't be back before the season started airing! The episodes do air the same day as they do in the UK but of course a couple of hours ahead do to the time difference!

That's lame that they announced it. Maybe it was an attempt to soften the blow for Clara lovers.

I think a paper or magazine over there broke the news about it and besides the BBC never keeps stuff secret, they like the publicity from it. Moffat wanted Matt Smiths leaving and regeneration to be a surprise but the BBC would have none of it.

The past couple Doctors only starred for 4-5 seasons so Smith leaving shouldn't have really been a shock. On another note I'm all for them bringing back David Tennant when Capaldi decides to leave.

That's not gonna happen nor do I want it to.

If I had to rank all the doctors in order of my most favorite it would be

1. Jon Pertwee 3rd doctor
2. Peter Capaldi 12th doctor
3. Sylvester McCoy 7th doctor
4. Matt Smith 11th doctor
5. Colin Baker 6th doctor
6. Patrick Troughton 2nd doctor
7. Tom Baker 4th doctor
8. Christopher Eccleston 9th doctor
9. David Tennant 10th doctor
10. William Hartwell 1st doctor
11. Paul Mcgann 8th doctor
12. John Hurt war doctor
13. Peter Davison 5th doctor

Hahaha! That was pretty good but as soon as they dropped The Walking Dead I was laughing!

I'm not impressed with this choice. She only has two credits to her on IMDB.

Pearl Mackie has been announced as the new companion to Peter Capaldi's Doctor Who.
