I think he was playing off of Kiffin but he seems like a good car salesman...so let's wait and see!!

Butch uses "body of work" like Fulmer used "work like heck"!!

He has retained Jay Graham so if he retains Pittman I will be happy!!

If you can win at Cincy, you can win anywhere (looking at all the 3 star recruits he had to work with there for the past 4 years) he might become a monster with some 4 or 5 star we get in the SEC!!

He beat Va Tech so I already love him for that!!

Getting promoted to HC of an SEC powerhouse (you know what I mean) would be a dream job for anyone coaching at a lower level...just like it was for Dooley. However the definition of what constitutes a "lower level" at this point is debatable

People like Butch, yes

Do you know him personally? Did he tell you this?

I don't, but I don't for one second buy what you're selling.
You could see a fire in the man's eyes like no one else I've seen since I've been a UT fan. He WANTS to be here, and he KNOWS he can win here. Get over yourself and behind your football team.

So you're not upset? OK. Either way, you can't say he was in it for the money when he had an offer he turned down just for the chance to interview at UT.

Anyone with half a brain knew UT's offer would be higher from any other school interested in him.

Ok. I'm not gonna sit here and debate semantics with you, but money isn't everything, and I believe that's the case here. You think what you want.

The ignorance of some on here is mind blowing.
I'm certain CBJ didn't grow up saying or thinking that all he wanted to be was the head football coach at the University of Tennessee HOWEVER, as a competitor I'm sure that his dream was to coach at the highest level in the greatest conference in college football and when given the opportunity he took it. That was the dream he is speaking of. Relax a little bit and try not to view and pick at everything so negatively.
