Well, it is the University of Cincinnati, a member of the "Little East" conference with very limited horizons, football wise, no real statewide fan base like most state universities, lesser facilities, and less exposure, among other things. So BJ obviously was looking to his future and opportunities greater than UC provided. Thus, it wasn't only the highest bidder angle. Interestingly, in the Cincinnati Enquirer, one player in the team meeting was quoted as saying that BJ told them UT was "ONE" of his dream jobs.

Colorado was also his dream job until UT offered him a better deal then it became his dream job.

He surmised it, based on history, conference visibility, national image of SEC, UCo being pretty much a career killer, and a number of other things.

That is unknown. It might be where sincerity (dream job) meets reality (contract/cash offered).
