as Carolyn Peck points out. Several trips down the court and only ONE player touches the ball, looking for her own shot...not passing the ball and tying to get a shot for another teammate! There are 5 players out there! Share the damn ball! Get a shot for your teammate! Things better change in the 2nd half or it's a big L and a big W for Bulldog State...

Andraya, Jordan and Alexa all did it. Dribble to their hearts are content then chucking up a shot and missing. Wasted offense.

Holly lets them do it time after time. She is watching the game, isn't she? One would think she would pull her guards out and tell them to stop doing that. Everyone MOVE to keep the defense off balance.

Andraya and Jordan should NEVER be in the game together at ANY TIME. Bad things happen.

If we had an offense to run, we'd be winning. MSU is overplaying on defense, the backdoor is wide open. A 1-4 High Offense would eat MSU alive because they are so close applying pressure. This off-season Holly really needs to install an offense.

This off season Holly needs to be gone.

The constant dribbling kills the pace. And don't the ladies know the game is almost over? Why do the guards dribble, dribble, dribble when time is of the essence!!

Because they have no offensive instructions, but get the ball inside. If we ran plays this team will look totally different on offense.

And on top of that, make your freaking free throws and make your WIDE OPEN shots in the paint! My goodness that was hard to watch. If we make our free throws and hit the easy ones we win going away. More disappointment to the already most disappointing season of all time. This is one of the few times I watched from start to finish and man they just look flat out scared. Can't play sports that way.

On five consecutive possessions Tennessee did not score because our guards spent a 3rd of their time dribbling the basketball with their heads down from one side of the court to the other around the bend dribble, dribble, dribble.

And the person dribbling the ball with 20-30's left chucks up a shot and misses. Rebound MSS. The Lady Vols did that 5 consecutive times in the 3rd quarter.

Tonight Diamond was the offense. We got to the line plenty but did not capitalize.

A terrible regular season. Post season so far hit and miss.

The Post season continues into the NCAA Tourney. Which Tennessee team will show up?

Holly's not going to suddenly become a good HC. What you see from Holly is what you're going to see until the day Hart's successor removes her from a job she's unable to do. She loves UT, but she's strictly an assistant at this level. It's not her fault she's not good enough-- it's the AD's fault for letting her continue to flounder at a job that's beyond her abilities.

I didn't get all the dribbling either,MSU did play a great Defensive game, but there were a lot of opportunities to move the ball around

The odds on favorite to show up will be the team miss-coached by Holly Dooley but don't worry, they want be in the NCAA's very long.

The normal offense we run during the course of the game is essentially the same one that most other teams run when they are trying to run out the clock.

You hold the ball and dribble it until time runs down and then let someone go one on one.

Well, it wasn't like we were playing our best game...when DD went out...like a little stream of air out of the balloon...so...hats off, :hi:...to a great effort in getting the Lady Vols some validity, again...it's not over till it's over...and as always...

EDIT: I apologize, and I would be remiss, if I didn't say we got out-thugged, not only inside the paint, but outside, also...but, I digress...

GO LADY VOLS!

They look confuse because they have to create. Holly hasn't done anything to improve this offense. They will continue to look this way when the game becomes a half-court game. Next season could be scary without Moore and Graves. Russell has been a major disappointment so far. She is slow, and she's to big to get pushed around so easily. If she had Isabelle Harrison's mindset and foot work with her size she would be an All-American.

Ya'll are not paying attention here... we were told this team lacked Alphas. Tonight there were 5-7 of em running around bouncing the ball.

Welp, that pretty much sucked.

Russell is skinny looking for her height, she could carry around 20 pounds or so easily,of course with sore feet, the idea is to be skinny

they did go flat when DD left the court

Yeah, right, actually it behooves me, but, we got a physical beating down, in, and around the paint...MSU...played all out and it worked for them...I guess we didn't match the intensity...:peace2:

GO LADY VOLS!

Players don't move without the ball. Andraya dribbles, Mercedes/Bashaara try to post up, and Jaime just gets hypnotized by Andraya's dribbling. Only Diamond is in motion.

Miss State didn't have to work too hard to play great defense whenever the ball was in Andraya/Jordan/Alexa's hand. Only when Cooper was doing her patented El Toro move to the basket into 3 defenders.

It's called the Scott Drew offense. As long as the ball still has air you continue to pound it.

If you gave this group to M.McGraw we'd score /at least/ 20 more points a game. As LA said, this isn't changing until we get a new staff.
