Since Texas was ranked below Tennessee and most likey they wont drop Bama that far I suspect UT will go from #9 to #10 in the AP given our non dominant performance. No other teams in the top 10 lost and i think Tennessee played bad enough to be the odd man out.

Agreed. But then again, how far did Georgia drop last year after struggling against Kent State? I realize of course that pollsters will not give UT the same deference

The difference is Texas. Had they not been ranked below Tennessee then none of this is an issue, I think UT would have stayed where they are.

Dropping in the rankings is actually probably just the motivation this team needs. They already felt disrespected. Yesterday should have shown them that they actually need to DO something to remedy that. Earn it on the field guys.
Ps. And cut out the stupid Dooley-esque arm tackling 😡

Tennessee fans worried about rankings knowing it’s been years since we felt this way. Meanwhile OSU in back to back weeks can’t get past 35 points sitting inside the Top 5.

We may drop a bit but I wonder how much attention (outside of our fan base) the game actually got. I suspect most voters were watching TX-bama and our game wasn’t on any networks. Some voters may see 30-13 and not bother to go back and actually watch (at least I hope)
I’m thankful it was on +

Yeah but if they just look at the score or the box score they will ask why we didnt win by 72. Theres a lot of commentary about the SEC being in trouble today and Tennessee will get sucked into that because we werent dominant.

OSU will not be in the top 5 after this week. I have them going below Bama maybe #8

Key words last year. This year the guys behind us played really well.

This is what I think the new top of the polls will be:

1. UGA
2. FSU
3. USC
3. UM
5. Tex
6. PSU
7. Bama
8. OSU
9. Wash
10. ND
11.Tenn

Which means almost NO ONE saw if (even those who wanted to). That is the most gosh awful streaming app/service in existence
And the picture quality is horrible as well. Even my wife who can’t tell the difference between SD and HD mentioned how bad the picture was
