Saying Pawlenty has abrubtly canceled his appearances for the next couple of days.

Interesting choice, if true.

If that's true Biden has to be celebrating. He will work this guy over in a debate. Coming from someone on the outside looking in I think McCain is best served with Mitt Romney.

IMO, Romney was the choice with KBHutchinson next for purely demographic factor of stealing some disgruntled Hillary types.

First, I wouldn't put any stock into anything until McCain says it himself. Everyone was saying Obama picked Chet Edwards at the last minute too. Also, it has to be approved by Karl Rove apparently as he told Joe Lieberman to withdraw himself from consideration.

I've been hearing that McCain will have all the frontrunners present with him when he announces - so even if Pawlenty travels to OH, it doesn't mean he's the choice.

Apparently, the choice has been made and the Obama camp says it would be "political malpractice" for McCain to announce tonight (whiners!).

That's fine, Obama didn't have to deal with a potential hurricane taking the spotlight from him. Actually, since Obama is the second coming do you think he created that hurricane?

I can't imagine there would be many Hillary supporters who would vote for McCain b/c of KBH. Unless they just wanted a woman as VP.

you don't think they're out there? How many does it take to swing an election?

I'd say no because it may be the excuse the Repubs need to leave W out of the convention...they are already considering canceling his Monday night speech so he can be "hurricane ready".

Now that is a win win situation right there. It's like the trade that makes both teams better. :)

Nowhere near enough. It'd have to be someone more appealing than KBH. Palin, perhaps, but even then, I'm not sure it'd sway them to vote for McCain - they might just do a write-in for HRC. Or abstain.
