Drudge Siren: Obama Race Speech tonight on Fox News

On Drudge right now:
2007: 'We don't need to build more highways out in the suburbs. We should be investing in minority-owned businesses, in our neighborhoods'...

OBAMA DECLARES HOW POOR PEOPLE: 'Need help with basic skills, how to shop, how to show up for work on time, how to wear the right clothes, how to act appropriately in an office'... Developing...

DAILY CALLER: 'For nearly 40 minutes, using an accent he never adopts in public, Obama describes a racist, zero-sum society, in which the white majority profits by exploiting black America'... Developing tonight...

1. Small-point, not to harp on it, but why does it matter what accent he speaks in? There are plenty of individuals that involuntarily switch to/revert to accents when they are back among certain individuals. Hell, psychologists have even studied the phenomena. Seems as though the "accent" comment is just being used to somehow imply that Obama is not as much of a well-spoken black man as we think; he might just be another black man.

2. Not sure I understand how the highway comment is supposed to be shocking.

3. Obama is not bashful in embracing both Black Liberation Theology and Critical Race Theory in Dreams from my Father; thus, none of these comments that Drudge has posted are in any manner shocking.

The email CarterVol posted is not true. It's a fake that has been passed around the web before.

Who needs fake stuff when he's got an abysmal record in his first 3 years?

Type A deception. Put out a lot of misinformation and you can 'discredit' the truth.

WTF Biden told us he was the first mainstream Black who is articulate and bright and clean

And Chrisy on MSNBC forgot for one minute time that he was black

My belief is that what Hannity has goes beyond any Youtube videos and beyond the transcript of the “prepared” speech or his book. This is about Obama going off script and being caught on video.

Anybody else get the sense they've looked and looked and looked and looked for something, anything, to compare to the Romney tape?

Unimpressed with this effort. But desperate times in the GOP calls for desperate measures I suppose.

Wow...just watched the "shocking" clips on Daily Caller. What was supposed to be shocking about that video?

A lot of build up for a video that just fizzled out.

1. Recognition of Jeremiah Wright - no effect on the undecided voted

2. Questioning of why the Stafford Act was waive after Andrew and 9/11 but not after Katrina - good question

3. His acceptance of Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior - no effect on the undecided voter

4. Argument that if you want to build the economy you have to start from the ground up - if the undecided voter is unaware of Obama's economic philosophy, then they just ought not to vote

Did I miss anything?

This is more jive-talking, divisive talk that shows Obama’s forked tongue. This is good for the undecideds and fringe democrats (especially the older ones) who are barely clinging to the democrat party.

I am glad it’s out there, especially now. Great to see that this is proof that the media suppresses it.

the video is not for you or for the 47%....It is for the 5% to 7% undecided and it WILL effect them!

"Jive talk"? Interesting assessment. Was there an accent? Yes. Would I consider that clip "jive talk"? Never.

Divisive talk? The only divisive part I saw was his economics stance; the question regarding the waiving of the provision of the Stafford Act is a great question.

Well, I am neither a Romney supporter nor an Obama supporter. I imagine I am closer to the undecided mindset than you are (I could be wrong, though).

It is VERY POWERFUL showing the hypocracy of one who claims we're not a red America or a white America or a blue America but a red white and blue America. Not the words he uttered to the black crowd in 2007 where his aim was to cause division, animosity and racial tension.

Enough there to make an VERY effective negative ad against Obama.

* I assume you mean "note the words"...

How to you conclude that was his aim? Seemed to me that he said, "It was right to waive the Stafford Act provision in the case of 9/11; it was right to waive it after Hurricane Andrew; and, it should have been waived after Katrina".

That does not imply racial tension; it implies, "Hey, it is right to take care of ALL Americans that are struggling; and, I intend to do that".

If you want to make a "class-warfare" argument, you would have a better time of it just from these clips.

Send Ann a text and tell her to start measuring the drapes.
