It was a bad definition, I don't know enough of the unc history... I know they have been good for awhile... They have a great history... That's why he's a fan.

Make sure you get Dicky V's signature.

we should win but with the way the Heels are playing anything is possible.

I agree, but you guys will be ready to go. Zeller and Henson will both have double doubles. The way Duke wins is hitting from the outside and possibly getting Marshall in foul trouble early. If Marshall comes out of the game their transition game will struggle.

Probably so but as long as he didnt pick a hat up in 09 and say yea man! Tar Heels for life! Im ok with it.

As for the rest of society, The Crimson Tide fan base and NY Giant fan base just got a lot bigger due to folks who wouldnt know the first thing about either team, school/franchise.

Very good point but Barnes can run the point to an extent. He is no Marshall but he can do it.

Zeller is to soft at times, he needs to find the streak and stick with it. Hensons game is developing great but his FT% is just horrible. I would foul him every time. Dont sell your team short. If they come out and burn the net up the Heels will be look at one hell of a mountain to climb.

Good grief. Where I'm from, the closest MLB team was 3.5 hours away and the closest NBA team five. But yeah, I should be in love with those cities' sports teams, right?

Yankees fan since the age of five. Yes, they were doing quite well during those years (mid-to-late 90s) to say the least, but it's not like I call myself a Yanks fan and don't watch them until the playoffs or when they're on SportsCenter. I buy the MLB.TV package every year (this will be my fourth year with it) just so I can watch them play.

Also, it's cool that you go to several Grizzlies games each year. My parents aren't/weren't particularly into sports all that much, so it was rare when our family would go to something that wasn't a Predators game. I still haven't had the chance to make it to a Grizz game (or any sporting event not involving UT this year), but hopefully that changes soon.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'd be able to make a Grizz regular season game this year due to school, but if they make the playoffs I'd go all-out in an attempt to see a game.

My schedule for the next few months is a little bit crazy, though. I'll be going to the rest of the UT men's and women's games and most of the UT baseball games. I'm (hopefully) going to an IndyCar race in Birmingham on April Fools. The NCAA Tournament is in Nashville this year and the Friday they're playing on is the start of my spring break, so there's that. I'll be going to the Indy 500 in May. Assuming the Predators make the playoffs, which they should be able to with ease the way they've been playing, that becomes a factor and I need to get to a playoff game at some point. I'll probably go to a Braves game in mid-April. This is around the time of year when I realize I like sports too much.

Dook doesn't play any D, soft as hell. However, both teams have the tendency to lay an egg from time to time. Being at home, Carolina should win by 7-10.

I hate both programs tbh (maybe duke more...thanks to laettner) but even i would love to go to a game.

Always highly competitive and both teams generally ranked.
