Wow, I've been waiting forever since that disgusting loss to VCU to see the Dukies play. I'm excited about having the opportunity to see King, Singler, and Smith in action tonight, how do you all see them fairing against a decent NMST squad?

This will be a tough game for probably more than a half. It certainly won't be a repeat of the 121-56 win over NC Central. If I'm lucky I may be able to purchase some tickets to Cameron Indoor at some point this year. Just depends on when I have basketball and when I have school and stuff.

i'm one of the biggest Duke pessimists you'll find right now, but even I didn't see this as much of a contest. good luck trying to score tickets. Looks like you could've easily went today.

I guess my only luck going is during the weekend or during perhaps a school break. Because it's quite a drive from outside of K-Ville to Durham, but I certainly want to make it to a game this year.

Who cares? It's Duke. No college team comes before UT or even close to UT even if we have a history of sucking in that said sport (basketball).

I guess opinions vary, but the drive to Durham is quite easy from Knoxville, IMO.

I guess. I got out of class at 10, was on the road with a buddy by 11, got to chapel hill, saw UVa-UNC, made the trip back and was in my seat for an 8:15 class that next morning when I was 18. We split time driving back. Of course, that was to JC. you have maybe 45 minutes longer. However, since you don't have to drive through the winding roads of Boone, NC at 1 in the morning, I call it a push.

actually went to greensboro while in HS one night for a concert. Got out of driving for that one though. Just rode shotgun on the way back. Made for one LONG day at school the next day though.

I told you it was going to be an easy win!!! I too hope to get to go to Cameron for a game this year. I have been to a Duke game in Clt before, but I want to go to my first in Cameron. I have always been a UT fan, but when I came to the Charlotte area/NC borderline, all you see when basketball season comes around are the ACC games and my aunt and uncle(my only family in this area) are huge Duke fans, so naturally I started following Duke when I came here. My boss is a Duke law school grad, he said he would try and score me tickets!

Shouldn't be too hard. Cameron only looks like it's sold out 100% of the time because of the student section which is all you can see when they are on ESPN, ESPN2, etc.

And of course it was an easy win. It was NMSU :eek:hmy:
