'25 Duke RB Transfer Star Thomas (TENNESSEE)

I think he's better than Jabari. Easily. At least a bigger version which makes him better. Might be faster.

In 2021-22 Jabari and Jaylen were not game breaking incredible players. Wright became a stud as a junior yes, but in Heups first two seasons our backfield was nothinnggg special.

Jabari was too small, not fast, would trip over his own feet. Jaylen only played at a TF because Tiyon Evans chickened out and as a SO, Jaylen was fine. Had horrible vision.

2025's backfield with a sophomore PL, 3rd year Bishop and SR Star Thomas looks more dynamic than what we had in Heups first two years.

Bishop and Star are at least 2022 Jabari and Jaylen level

Peyton Lewis is the big ol freskshow. That run where he carried those UGA LB's 15 yards down the field showed me everything I needed to see. I think he's a damn stud.
Small did everything they asked. Rarely put the offense behind the sticks. I don't even think he fumbled. He wasn't elite but also never got his QB killed in protection. That's why he played so much. Reliable dude.

Ironic that a productive multi year contributor for us who never caused any trouble and is now a borderline NFL player on a practice squad has turned into such a scrub -VN keeping it real as usual

Eh he did a few times, bur yeah Jabari was always solid and reliable and we know this staff values that greatly.

Pretty sure he fumbled once in 2023. He just didn't have the big play ability but broke plenty of big runs. He was undervalued by most.
One thing I loved about him is he never lost yardage. That’s why he was so good in short yardage situations. He was always going to get back to the LOS. He didn’t break a lot of long runs, but he’d get what we needed in those situations.

Yup. It's why he racked up all those TDs inside the 10.
