Duke/UNC anyone?

Doesn't change the fact they are a tourney team.

But keep pretending I said they were great.

They are a tourney team, and a quality team. 13ish seed in the tournament.

no no... Acting like a team that wins a horrific conference is a good win for your OOC schedule is homerism and acting like they are a great team. you're the one that insinuated all that, not I.

He's sounding more and more like TennesseeFan07 by the minute, isn't he?

yeah. The one who has admitted Duke is severely overrated all season. Yet you, acting like Tennessee is all and mighty, are the logical one. Tell me when they do something notable. Losing to Kentucky isn't a good start and ripping apart Florida isn't much better.

Telling us Tennessee can't rebound after they dominated both MSU and Alabama (two of the best rebounding teams in the conference) on the road tell us all we need to know about your assessments.

Then out-rebounded Florida by 10.

And South Carolina.

And Georgia.

All I said was they were a tournament team. But keep inferring things I am not implying, skippy.

i don't care about the debate, but Duke's OOC schedule looked one helluva lot better on paper at the beginning of the season than it has panned out to be. UW is a decent win, Pitt beat them and the rest of their OOC crowd has proven terrible (Marquette sucks). their conference is weaker than the SEC. tonight was a decent win over wounded and poor playing UNC.

Breaking a 14 home game winning streak at Xavier? Duke would have lost that game... but they wouldn't go there, I don't guess.

dickens I asked you who UT has beaten that makes their OOC relevant. You responded with WKU and UNC-A.

And I responded with the tournament teams on our schedule.

Our OOC SOS of 10 and Dukes 70 tells me all I need to know.

We'll see what happens after the Memphis game. Don't forget that UT is such a great rebounding team after that one. Because I sure won't.

you can argue the texas loss and say we didn't show up, but how can you compare the team playing now and how they played in november and only 2 losses with the #2 combined SOS

Ohio St is going to be lucky to finish 5th in the Big Ten. And that's because the other six teams don't deserve to even be there.

They are still a tourney team. Where do you get this "Dickens is arguing that these are great teams" thing. I am telling you that we have an obscene amount of tourney teams on our OOC schedule, and it shows up in our SOS.

Duke... notsomuch.

Disputing "can't rebound" with relevant statistics negating your assertion doesn't translate to "a great rebounding team." You really take everything out of context.

ok then. Since according you, you've not answered my original question, I'll ask again. Who has Tennessee played outside the conference that's any good?

tennessee is horrible at rebounding. we have definitely been more dominate with crews back in the lineup. he actually boxes out to allow our front 3 to come in and clean up.

Which is exactly what I was pointing out. I'm still trying to figure out where he got the "great rebounding team" gem from.

Gonzaga, Xavier, Texas, West Virginia. Ohio State is decent, and obviously Memphis.

you haven't gained ground. Instead of answering my question you are claiming you never answered and just gave me crappy teams you play that are going to sneak into the tourney.

winning your conference tournament isn't 'sneaking into the tourney.' It's being the best of your league.

yeah... We're seeing how good WVU is now that they are playing in conference. What a joke. I'll admit Xavier is a decent win, but it's nothing to right home about.
