This statement just elevated you to one of my favorite members of the VolNation.
Well Clemson fans annoy me. They are some of the most fair weathered fans, when they win you see them everywhere, but when they lose, its oh no, don't let anyone know I'm a clemson fan. SC on the other hand they stick by their team after loss after loss after loss.
I absolutely can't stand Tom Brady but, all he has to say is.............. Kiss the Ring's.Montana vs Marino? Already happened.
Elway vs Favre? Already happened.
Staubach vs Bradshaw? Happened twice
Brady is still below all the aforementioned
bradshaw has the rings, but there are about 500 NFL QBs that would have those if they were QBing those Steeler squads. Not so of the other guys. Their teams won (except Marino) because they were at the helm. Each was on good teams, but they were the centerpiece and the main reason for victory, doubly in Brady's case.I would have to take Brady over Marino, Favre and Bradshaw in a heartbeat. Right now, it's at worst a dead heat between Brady, Elway and Staubach.
Favre is just too inconsistent. Marino was the original Captain Stats, and Bradshaw (although the same will be made for Brady in this argument) just had all kinds of talent with him and a defense that would make me pee my pants if i was on the other side.
My favorite aspect of Brady is that, like Montana, Young or Aikman he will do whatever he has to do to win. Manning and Marino do not have that ingredient.
I might take Young and Montana, but not Marino and Favre. Young and Montana can do what Brady does, but the other guys have too much gunslinger in 'em to take advantage of what the D is giving them. Brady is one patient dude and the coolest customer around.Ppl say that about Brady because he is the most recent memory. If you put Favre, Marino, Bradshaw, etc in their prime on the Patriots team now they would be doing just as well or better than Brady. He is good, Im not denying that but the team is very complete on both sides of the ball. I would take Marino, Young, Montana, Favre all over Brady.
