Dumb Music Lyrics

There's a blue million of them, but just off the top of my head:

"I'm only one call away, I'll be there to save the day, superman got nothing on me, I'm only one call away."

Just so ****ing generic. After having my little sister live with me for 6 months, I can't hardly stomach Top 40 music anymore. There might be 1 or 2 decent songs for every 15 that come out. I think my parents' cynicism has finally caught up to me.

Mumble mumble mumble mumble mumble.......Fireball!

I personally likes when he rhymes the same words. "Me not working hard, yeah picture that with a kodak. Or better yet go to times square and take a picture of me with a Kodak." Smh

Rubbin' sticks and stones together makes the sparks ingite
And the thought of lovin' you is getting so exciting
Sky rockets in flight
Afternoon delight

My biggest issue with lyrics in any pop music genre (rap, rock, dance, country, whatever) is that these artists rarely have anything meaningful or profound to say.

Most of the time, the lyrics they write are tired, shallow verses that only reaffirm the clichés that are prevasive to the specific demographic who will buy their garbage music.

99% percent of these crap songs are forgotten about within 5 years of release. The 1% that endures is usually due to the unique tune the artist manages to create - not the throwaway lyrics they tack on.

IMO, lyrics are one of the most overrated "things" on this planet. If you don't have anything meaningful, original, or amusing to say, STFU and just let me hear the music.

99% of the shallow ass songs that are out there today. Give me lyrics that tell a story or make a statement. There's no art in today's music. It's just cranked out crap. Country music is horrible nowadays. I mean, I thought the 90's was bad for pop country, but the stuff nowadays is wretched.

"As sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti"

You don't say one famous mountain is mountain-like, the same as this other famous mountain. Screw you and your rains Toto

"We've got to hold on to what we've got -
it doesn't make a difference if we make it or not"

If it doesn't make a difference then why do you have to hold on to what you've got.

God I hate Bon Jovi.

Any Bush song.

Blasphemy! Glycerine and Comedown are great songs!

... the question that begs to be asked in this thread is just what the f*** is this supposed to mean?

"Bawitdaba da bang da bang diggy diggy diggy
Shake the boogie said up jump the boogie"

and Kid Rock repeats that mess over and over and over...

A abomination that needs to be banned from radios and all places and I utterly hate is the 1 of the worst songs ever You had a bad day.

The entire damn song is nothing but damn negativity.
I wish that song was never made and all copies of it would be removed from the Internet plus cds of it burn in Hell.
It's so dreadful it belongs in the 9th circle of hell.
