Dune: Part Two

Pretty sure from the start that the plan has always been to make the first two Dune books into 3 movies, and then Villeneuve is done.

That’s what I’ve heard. I didn’t know if it was confirmed or not.

Messiah is the shortest of the books but it will still be nearly impossible to get through in 2 1/2 hours if he tries to reconcile them on-screen. I hope he just time lapses it and has one or two characters allude to their make up during the movie to make it more believable/less abrupt.

I'm halfway through reading Messiah and I can't imagine it all being in one movie already.
