Really? A UT player/grad and he will have a hard time getting a job if he stays in east tennessee? Reality points to that not being the case. IMO - he deserves a chance to do well. US is a country of 2nd chances.
Having worked in the Human Resources Dept at First Tennessee Bank in the Main Office on Gay St from 1999-2003, I can tell you that I was not allowed to forward an applicant's resume to a manager for consideration if they were a convicted felon because our bond would not cover them. I think this would be the case throughout the financial industry and most major companies. I think it will be hard for him to get a job but certainly not impossible and someone could take a chance on him because of his UT ties but that is hard to say not knowing what his major was in or any of his credentials outside of football. I really do wish him the best.
