Dwight Jones/Ahmad Paige Same Decision?

I think we get them both..I feel good about Jones. No real reason, just do. Maybe I'm too excited about signing 3 5* receivers, and 2 really high 4*..some fast, solid 3*'s..not counting Berry who could play some O, plus Rogan who I think will be playing the "Reggie Bush" kinda thing..I think we'll see him coming out of the backfield a lot. And I see G. Jones playing some of that kinda role too.

DJ, AP, and Sykes all look like very good possibilities again.

AP and Sykes = all VOL

DJ = damn good shot, could come to last minute gut feeling

Vol67 has been right so far so I think we get Paige and Jones heads into football obscurity to play second fiddle to the basketball team

There will never be a player that we use in a Reggie Bush role. Jakouri Williams was supposed to be used in a Reggie Bush role in the '05 season, and they put him in at WR vs. UAB and threw a screen to him that Ainge was about 5 yards short on and that is the last time I saw him on the field, offensively, the rest of the season. I would love to see us try to use someone like USC did with Reggie Bush, but I don't see it happening.

D Jones is waffling on everything right now so put him in the don't be shocked where he ends up committing, but he will not be on campus this fall wherever he goes. he will however be in Prep school or a JUCO.

I couldn't see it happening before Cut came in, but I think he's going to atleast meddle in it.

I don't think Jones is going to jump ship, and even though it would be a big blow if he did, I think we have a well rounded recruiting class. If Vinson can get in and contribute with oneal and the players we have coming back we will have a solid offense.

What about Gerald Williams? The kid is huge and athletic. If he makes it in, he'll be a Leonard Little clone

That would be a shocker for me. You would think one would scare the other off....but I will sure take it.

D Jones and Paige are very different players than G. Jones. Of the 3 only G. Jones has the ability to play all over the field and make an impact. They would not soften the blow at all.

I think with D. Jones the question is JUCO or Prep.. Last I heard he wasn't goin' to make it.

Agreed. I would rather have G Jones than Paige. The guy has the kind of ability to make people miss that doesn't come along all that often.
