since we all are speculating, I’ll weigh in. Sampson‘s pass blocking skills are not equivalent to those of Wright or Small, therefor when we got behind in the swamp, we went to more pass first option plays based on what the defense was showing.

They are all 3, top P5 RBs IMO and all 3 will be in the league sans injury. I remember in the 90s we had 3 RBs that ended up in the league for something like 7 or 8 years . I would say whoever is best in pass blocking and catching the ball out of the backfield, will get the most reps.
