really need to see what attrition happens, here and other places but record will be close to this year's record again.. doubt there is as much improvement as you see. JMO

You make me laugh.

Next year on the field it will be more of the same garbage that we saw this year - young poorly coached football teams do not fare well in the SEC.

Off the field we will hear the same meaningless rhetoric and CBJ euphemisms that we have been hearing since he got here. I am quite sure CBJ will come with some more gimmicky phrases.

5 and 7 and yet another losing season.

Larry i know you are pretty conservative in your views and they're usually right. I hope your wrong here though. If there is a program that needs a break out year or a feel good year it's ours. These long rebuild jobs that go unfinished because the coach gets canned for being stuck in neutral really suck..

The Kentucky game will decide if we go winless in the SEC for first time in history

The way the Best Staff in America has been setting the wrong records, we could see it

Utah State is a solid team. They can move the ball down field fast. Without a good pass rush this is a loss.

How do you figure S. Carolina a Win and Ole Miss. a Loss? Are you flipping coins?

The rest I can see happening ONLY if we improve in the off season. I say 6-6. It's an improvement!

The op predicted 8-4? Is their going to be a new coach next year, because there is no way in hades this staff leads a team to 8 wins.

More of the same. We lack leadership, don't have a QB, we lose our kicker and experienced O-line and we'll be playing freshmen everywhere. I doubt CBJ makes any coaching changes, so what we saw this year is what we'll see next year. If you liked it, you're in luck; if not, get used to it.

We'd need some immediate impact players to pull that off. Bama gets the ready made NFL guys and not many other teams get enough to pull that off..

8-4? The obvious question is, have you seen any of the last 4 games? UT is arguably now the worst team in the SEC, sliding very quickly backward, not improving and getting better. Why in the world would you or anybody else think Butch can win 8 games next year?

Blind faith. The same thing that the leadership has counted on to line their pockets for the better part of 10 years or so now. Selling hope my friend and not much else..

2014 is a replay of this year. One of the greatest teams in our history was called the "The Flaming Sophomores." In 2015, we'll have another group of sophomores who will burn.

We could have two out of conference losses next year. Oklahoma obviously, Utah State is also a good football team. If our Vols play like they did last night we could lose that game too.

Realistically I'm thinking 7-5, 4-4 SEC. I think a lot of these Debbie Downer predictions are either trolls or people still emotionally in the dumps after last night's disappointment.

I have 6-6. That looks like a pretty tough schedule again. I can't see 8-4 for another year or two after that. I realize we have a great class coming in but it is still gonna be another class or two to get good depth at all positions and have some good practice competition.

UTAH STATE point well taken!!!!!!!!!!!!
Starting QB is a junior with 18 td's versus 2 int's.
That will be a toss up at best.

I don't care what games we win/lose next season. But, CBJ has to have at least 6 or 7 wins next year. Any less than 6 and then he isn't the right guy for the job.

We beat Ark State, Chatt, Kentucky.
Toss up- Utah state. Missou. Vandy
We could be 3-9, but more like 5-7 if we catch some breaks.
