They can practice if they are enrolled. I haven't seen anything changing that. I've never really seen the point of it to be honest. They can't travel or anything else so there's really no value in them participating in a couple practices IMO
IDK but every article I've ever saw said the extra practices are valuable especially to the young guys. Even if you're only getting a portion of those practices with EE and most are game prep you still can get some work in with those guys.
They'll get to practice at school. When the team travels to the bowl site, they cannot go. So, I'd say around 10 practices. I agree with you, still valuable time to spend for a new guy.
No I don't think so. They changed it to where new players cannot participate in bowl practices a few years back iirc. That's why you see some of the EEs (like Jack Jones and Andrew Butcher for example) playing in AA games.I really don't know but I was under the impression that none of the EE's could enroll at UT before early January because none of them will be leaving high school until mid-late December. Is there something I'm missing?

Correct to the best of my knowledge. Classes begin Jan 7. Not sure if you are considered officially enrolled before then, probably depends on date of HS graduation and completion of NCAA clearinghouse process, etc.
