We have 7 slots open, so what commits are left and are there any others we would take if they want to come?

Not sure on that 7 number. It's fluid at best lol.

Cox, Harris and Henry are committed but not signed.

All three could wind up somewhere else.
Cox to Auburn, Harris to UNC and Henry to FSU. We'll see what happens with those three. I get the feeling that Harris is the one they'd really like to keep of the three...

As for prospects... Darnell Wright is the big one. Announcing on signing day as far as I know.

Henry to'oto'o is probably next. Us or Bama. We'll see. Up hill imo, but we have a shot.

Kris Bogle is another. I have serious doubts he leaves home. But we'll keep swinging. He likes UT, always has. Just don't see him leaving home.

Chris Russell is another kid that wants to come. I think the staff likes him. No idea how that plays out.

Past that... No clue. Lots of names. But really don't know what the board resets to and who really is made a priority from now till February.

I hope we get Wright maybe one more freshman and maybe go the Grad transfer route for three or four immediate help players. We could still use a DT or two SEC ready and a linebacker that could play immediately. Would also say a QB to backup JG don't know exactly how the other two guys progression will be by start of season. Certainly Maurer needs some time to develop.

Dunno how I feel about a grad transfer qb yet. I see what you're saying, but a lot really depends on where shrout is in his development. So I'll wait and see.

Doubt Cox goes to AU or TN; probably a weaker conference smaller school.

Agree on Bogle.

I think the Toot'toot hype has been 90% VN. I see no indication of him coming here over Bama. Actually I think there is a better chance of Bogle because we actually have a relationship with coaches and players and he's been here.

HT has a great relationship with neids and Kevin Simon... And he's visited here already.

We're in his final 2.

There's evidence. I'm still not sure it matters mind you. But yeah we have "a shot".

And I'm the exact opposite on bogle lol. Can't see him leaving South Florida.... At all.

But here's what I will say....

I hope we're both right!!

So on today's Jared Bowl broadcast, commentator said Memphis State "flipped" DE Jalil Clemons from the Vols. Fact, fiction or irrelevant?

We have to get wright and then we must get some more quality deep in the interior in the DL and at inside LB. if we do so, this will be a very successful haul for Pruitt.

Early signing day was a huge success. If we land wright, then this class was the absolute best we could’ve done this year. I’m amazed at what Pruitt and the gang have been able to do so far. It seems like forever since we’ve had recruits actually choose is on signing day. I couldn’t count on 2 hands how many have went the other direction in the last several years.

We hadnt talked to Clemons in a long time. He was not visited by the coaches on the weeks before ESD. That tells u all u need to know.

Not sure how many we have left. We had 69 players on scholarship still last week. Clearly at least a few who haven't said anything are leaving. Not sure if it will get all the way down to 60 or not though.
