Memphis International Airport was at 5 inches at 6 AM EST. They've added probably another 2 since then. Probably have another 1 although the dry slot showing up now may go over MEM....

Crazy. Atlanta keeps repeating the same mistake over and over. They had a massive storm back in the early to mid 80s that they weren’t prepared for and it wrecked that city. I was a kid at the time and literally had to go home with my teacher to spend the night, along with a few other kids as our parents couldn’t get to us. Cars were abandoned everywhere as they couldn’t get home. Something similar happened again a few years ago.

Anyone calling this a dud right now is definitely making premature statements. The snow (and possible mix for the southern valley and eastern valley/foothills) is definitely still on track.

Only a small amount of time to get where you need to in Knoxville especially if traveling untreated roads.

I retract my earlier statements. Coming down good in Greenback. Roads gathering more accumulation than the grass atm
