Not really a whole lot of good basketball in East Tennessee. If you want to watch some good high school basketball, then West Tennessee is where you need to be.

Agreed. I have petitioned CUSA to drop SMU, Rice, and Marshall from BB and allow White Station, Ridgeway, and Raleigh-Egypt to play those schools conference schedules. That way, at least the Tiger games will be competitive and the CUSA Tourament would be a sell out.

I will be back in Middle TN on Friday. I just wanted to watch a basketball game tonight since I was up here in Knoxville.

Seen Bearden play at the Arby's Classic in Bristol earlier this year. They are a solid team.

Heard on CoachT you had to have advance tickets for the Bearden game, but I don't know if I believe that. Just thought I'd throw it out there in case someone knew anything about that.

Bearden Oak Hill won't be a game at all. Bearden is the best team in the area but they aren't even in the same league as Oak Hill. Oak Hill's 6th and 7th men are going to D-1 schools while Bearden maybe has 2 D-1 prospects.

Actually, I believe Bearden has 4 D-1 prospects.

Also, I'm not sure who the kid is, but they have a PG who can't be much bigger than 5'5, but he has to be one of the quickest kids I've ever seen.

Bearden also rotates in shifts. First 5 sit down, second 5 come in. I don't think I've seen them use any individual subs.

Oak Ridge is down this year. So is Farragut and my alma-mater, South-Doyle. I think we've won 1 game this year.
I know.... Oak Ridge has been down in football as well the past few years.... I was just throwing their name out there to see how much hate we get:) Knoxville has always hated on Oak Ridge.

Nathan Parker and Dustin Craig

Parker maybe, but not Craig. Craig will be a solid D-2 player but he is not D-1 caliber. Craig, at his size, will be forced to play a 3 in college. He's not quick enough to compete at the D-1 level IMO.
