Allen #33 Blue. Big guy... Jamal-like stature. Picked up the 3rd and 1.

Allen TD.

Get off the LSU stuff, man. Kiffin is calling.

Nice plug for Kiffin by the announcers.

And again on the QB stuff. Coaches AND players want the truth.

Keep up the Kiffin stuff, guys. Loving it!

73 on scout. Not bad. Maybe there's some story there?
Will they update Scout again after these Dec all star games are done?

ESPN - Justin Smith Rankings, Grade, News, Stats - College Football Recruiting 2009

I am not sure how they do the updates, but I think they can update them anytime they want. B.J. Coleman went from a 3* to a 4* after an all star he was in. I don't remember which one it was.

Montori Hughes went from not being listed to being listed on Rivals after the TN East-West All start game last year. However, I believe that is because he committed to UT and got noticed.

I'm sure they'll watch this film.

Tennessee does have some in-state talent. We've probably discounted it so long some of these guys might have been offended.

Hope we can get them back in a mindset where UT is always their first choice.

Nick Yazzie and David "D.J." Roberts players of the East-West All Star game. UT should be talking to both these guys. There were several other players they need to talk to, but the next one on the list should be Justin Smith. He needs to be wearing orange.

Good summary!

Also, I'm happy we're getting Gordon and Rogers! Teague and Allen should stay home and help defend their home state as opposed to gallivanting off to Florida, Louisiana, or Alabama.

I thought it was interesting that the color guy (not Packer) described Yazzie as a 'John Lynch' type DB.

Gordon, Rogers do a lot with one touch apiece : Football Recruiting : GoVolsXtra.comWhere's Kiffin?:

Found this interesting. Someone mentioned that Kiffin wouldn't be attending the game earlier in the thread.

"New UT coach Lane Kiffin was a no show, but so was every other Division I football coach.

Earlier this week the NCAA sent out a letter to Division I coaches informing them that attending any high school All-Star game would be considered a violation of an NCAA bylaw. The interpretation of the bylaw limits live evaluations by D-I coaches to regularly scheduled practices and games only."

This rule seems strange. Why do they care if coaches attend all-star games?

That should be part of the reward a player gets for earning the right to play in them.
