We must defeat Vandy.

No excuse is worth a damn. If we lose, it will be like the apocalypse. The recruiting class will fall apart; cats and dogs living together.

I like CBJ. I can take my lumps with CBJ. I was fed up with Dooley at Showergate; "looking for Rommel" just infuriated me - comparing my Vols to the Nazi army. Damn son of Vince couldn't coach cockroaches to survive. CBJ is a complete 180.

And yet... we've got to win this game. I don't care if we pull an Aubbie v GA to do it. I don't care if it's Clint Stoener 2: Electric Boogaloo. If we have a W on Sunday morning, God's in His heaven and all's right with the world.

You may have just won the Internet today with that!

It does feel ridiculous comparing two top ten, undefeated teams with Vandy @ TN 2013, but that's where we are.

I can take some lumps with CBJ. We've just got to win this game!

A loss would be detrimental to the program. You're right, biggest game of the year Saturday.

There was no excuse for Stanford losing to Utah. Things happen. I believe we are going to beat Vandy but if we don't, it won't be as bad as some of you're making it out to be. Will I and a lot of other fans be upset? Absolutely. Will it do anything else but cause emotional uproar? No.

Yes I expect us to win but this is football and anything can happen on any given Saturday. Did anyone expect FSU to go into Clemson and completely blow the out? Nope. But it happened. Did anyone expect Baylor to be ranked in the top 7 at this point? Nope. But it happened. My point is things happen. Everything cannot be controlled.

This is not some kind of win or bust game. Oh we have to beat Vandy or the program is in trouble is stupid.

I think so too, but that other OP got flamed for even saying this is a "big" game. I think it's "big" right now, for our season, come the following week, ky, last in the SEC, is even bigger, IF we win against vandy for a bowl berth (birth) for recruiting and many other reasons.

I'm sharpening my pitchforks, getting the torches ready, and preparing the mattresses just in case this game ends up in the L column.......

As much as it pains me to say, this is a big game. We need to get a W this week and next week to go bowling. Got to take care of Vandy and set things back to the way it should be. I will be so glad when a W against Candy and the mild cats becomes the norm against.

For once this season I can say that I'm confident going in to a sec gm. I really do believe that Butch will have them playing at a high level. If our O line goes out and inserts their will I don't think they can stop us from running it right down their backside. GO VOLS!

KDP is dusting off the bridge barricades. Shows that this is indeed a must game!

I'm not going to predict a win or loss. This time last year, DD had lost this team, and they just sorta gave up. I hope we don't see that out of a CBJ coached team against vandy. Really need to send these seniors out on a winning note.

dont let the we all win even if its a loss crowd say it will be ok with a loss on sat..

it will haunt this staff forever. u r not hired at tn n double your salary to lose to vandy or kent. if this staff is worth a crap u dont lose to vandy..

let them lose n it will be just like the kent loss i truely believe it shows that this is not even an avg staff..

no freaking excuses period.. the lets all get a trophy crowd better put on their bullet proof vest if its an L come sunday morning...

im on the fence at this point the team hasnt really improve so we will need to see some progress.

my heart says we win but the results r yet to be seen.

God is in heaven on His throne regardless the outcome of a football game.

If we bring the same energy as UGA and USCjr we win easily. If not then expect a 4th quarter game. O-line is the key to help out the young QB. Patiently waiting for the line to have a dominant game. GBO!
