As Brian Vickers pointed out on Inside Nextel Cup this week, his #83 Red Bull team was disqualified from a race earlier this season after they failed post qualifying inspection... for a height infraction. I'm not sure what that says about NASCAR's consistency on height penalties.

Hey atleast when Harvick killed it in 06 there was 5 other cup regulars racing in it. Edwards looks stupid out there doing it by himself

Kyle Busch was docked the same points earlier in the year for the same infraction Edwards was docked for. It is a consistent action by NASCAR.

IMO, a cup driver stepping down to a lower tier and dominating shows classlessness, stupidity, disrespect, or any other term you want to put here. Maybe the Vols can convince the NCAA to let Peyton suit up on Saturdays.

I totally agree, I hate buschwhackers, but I was just making the point that Harvick actually dominated against a bunch of cup regulars full time as Edwards is dominating against busch guys.

Todd Berrier, come on, Harvick is the busch series king. If you want to hate on Harvick then Mark Martin is the biggest fraud to ever race in Nascar.

Mark Martin is the best driver to never win a championship and better than some that have won titles as well.

Great to see that you value championships so much. Martin is a great driver, but you can't put him above people that have one. He's had plenty of oppurtunities to win them and squandered it.

Perhaps the ones escaping blame are the owners. Roush sometimes have up to 6 teams competing in the race, and also the sponsers, remember the Milwaukee race this year
