Yes I'm aware this was like 15 years ago... it's the offseason so give me a break.

For some reason the '09 Bama vs Tennessee highlights came up in my suggested search on YouTube, so I had to click on it.

Watch what happens at the 6:07 mark when Daniel Lincoln kicks the first field goal, and listen to Danielson's comment. Kind of eerie how spot on he was.

Again yall... offseason... give me a break.

If you can go back and listen to archives of vol calls on the monday following that game a caller asked Kiffen did he and the coached know if Lincoln was hurt or did they not know. Kiffen absolutely said they did not know. First odd that the announcers could see it and the coaches could not and secondly I heard Lincoln say in an interview weeks later that he told them he was hurt. Somebody lied.

If this is the "Mt. Cody" game, I'll say this. Living in Alabama, Cody was somewhat of a legend - but knowing Tennessee football, you need to understand that Cody didn't have to even jump, even if he could. Those kicks were so low, Cody just got in the way of the ball hitting the centers ass, and got all the glory for it. I guess he was the hero, but dang, our kicker and special teams unit on the field sucked that day.

It was. I thought it pretty much hit Cody in the chest didn't it? Like it wasn't a true block, it was kicked right at him.

I don’t dislike Kiffin as much as most , but if you’re asking me to choose who I trust more, I’m picking the guy that’s a high level war fighter in one of the most elite military units in the world.

Twice!! I eat at a bbq place sometimes in Huntsville (Moe's downtown) and as you hug the wall forming the order line, there are a ton of famed pictures. As you are about to place your order, there is "That one" right there. Boy, Bama found glory in that one, on that day. Even if I go in there hungry, my appetite sort of fades while waiting to place my order.

I am starting to also wonder how much of the issues around Tennessee after 2009 where mental. The comment recently by the offensive tackle that played under both Pruitt and Heupel was interesting (can't remember his name at the moment) were he stated that they went into games with Pruitt hoping to win but not expecting it while they had an expectation that they were going to win every game in Heupel starting in 2022.

I sometimes think Tennessee hasn't had the confidence we should have as a program until now.
