In 1972 Rice fans were mad at the referees for a bad call at Kyle Field in a 20-14 win and trapped the officials in the locker room after the game and they had to be rescued by police:D

Back in the 1920's Baylor students killed an Aggy that had attacked a float at halftime of a Homecoming game in Waco. Aggies can do some stupid things.


During halftime Baylor Homecoming floats paraded around the field. When a float – actually a car pulling a flatbed trailer with several female Baylor students – neared the section where the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets sat, a cadet raced towards the car and grabbed the steering wheel. The motion caused Louise Normand to fall off the truck, injuring her and inciting a large riot. Students began using metal folding chairs and planks of wood that had been used as yard markers for weapons. Texas A&M student Lt. Charles Sessums was hit in the head during the melee and, although he initially appeared to recover, he died following the game.[4]

The media outrage of the celebration is just as laughable as the celebration itself. I thought what he did was hilarious but the media headlines say “crude”; “disgusting”; and “unacceptable”. It was obviously a bad decision to pull out that celebration at that time but using those words in the headlines to describe it shows how sensitive our culture has become. People need to get over themselves and see this for what it is.....entertainment.
