Probably has something to do with the fact that in 1997, when UNC was 9-1 and only needed to show it could draw a big crowd to get a major bowl bid, Kenan Stadium was half-empty for a game against their biggest rival.

Mack Brown quit a few days later, UNC went to the Gator Bowl, and the Tar Heels blew any chance of ever being a top-shelf program. But don't tell them that. UNC fans think they're God's chosen program in everything.

You've got to love it whens fans of a program that has been busted for cheating twice in the last 15 years make comments about our program cheating...

But I guess that's a topic for another thread and forum

Hey please tell me what board you found this on. I'm already amped for the game tonight bc I grew up in Durham and there is nothing I love more than bashing the Tar Holes.
