Lol @ Rutgers fans spinning Russo's higher ranking at the Elite 11 so far as proof that they got a better QB than JG.

Rutgers doesn't have anyone yet. Russo may end up signing with another program before all is said and done.

Yea but it's not too bad to lose out on maybe the best QB and get a guy who is in the top 4 of Elite 11...

Went back to that NJ.com thread following the JG announcement. The butthurt towards him and his "traitorous" father is epic! Their prediction is Jarrett falls on his face and crawls back in two years...begging to be part of Rutgers lore. "And then Coach Flood says thanks but no thanks". They're a delusional lot! You get the occasional rational contribution, but they're the outliers. I checked when Russo committed and it was like when Dooley bested William and Mary for a prospect. DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH. Ohio State fans are the indisputable leader in the obnoxious department, but keep your eyes on the not so lovely campus in New Brunswick, NJ if they ever start winning. :)

LSU people here been crowing about how they will have the #1 class, based partly on having the #1 QB.

... Franks at #5 :shades:

LSU...where top flight QBs go to die. At least it seems that way since Les took over down there. If he could actually develop QBs LSU would probably be in the playoffs every year with the talent they have year in and year out.

I don't think we have anything to be concerned about.

Rutgers fans are shockingly arrogant. Definitely noticed it during the JG saga, and there are also quite a few who believe Kyle Flood is a much, much better coach than Butch Jones simply because Rutgers had a good record against Cincy while Jones was there.

Shotty will set him back futher than Sanchez. QB killer.

Yeah, and that makes a lot of sense considering Sanchez's worst year and downfall started in 2012 .. oh, but that was after Schotty was already with the Rams sooooo. In fact, Sanchez's best years were with Schotty. And I think this may be the same Schotty that got 20 TDs and over 3,600 yards last year from from Shaun Hill and Austin Davis. Or maybe the one that got 22 TDs and 3,300+ yards from Bradford and Kellen Clemens the year before.

And he certainly killed Drew Brees by the time he left SD after the 2005 season as their QB coach (sarcasm here).

Rutgers played Princeton in the first college football game 146 years ago. They've contributed nothing to the sport since then.
