Fans like this is a reason Nico should consider finding a more supportive fan base. He is going to make mistakes next year and this is what he has to look forward to.

I very much agree with you that our fans should not say personal insults about our players (like QBs) but should only criticize their performances(or lack thereof). Especially players like Joe that have already proven beyond any doubt that they are diehard VFL type leaders...

That said, Nico knew when he was a HS All-American and 5* player at the QB position that the pressure and expectations for him were gonna be INSANE anywhere he went....even before the rules changed and his family was paid $millions in cash. He needs to be the type of person that THRIVES under pressure and loves to have the game on the line and the cameras on him. I trust that CJH and staff can judge young mens personalities and attributes and that Nico will be playing at a championship level in a year or 2.

Overall I'm pretty happy with the offense. As noted here, the running game has really been great, and our line play seems really good.

The passing game isn't like it was last year, but our personnel isn't as strong in that department as we were last year. Milton hasn't become Hooker thus far, but we could be a lot worse off at quarterback and he still has time to make some good strides, and I think our coaches are the right ones to help him get as good as he can be in the time he has here.

Ditto our receiving group isn't what it was, but it's not bad by any means and I expect we will get better there. It hurt losing Bru, but it's not like we don't have guys with talent who might show something special. I'd love to see Milton and the receivers really start to shine for sure, but for now we have to find other ways to win games.

I think the play calling and game management by the coaches has been good overall. We can win games without being as good as we were on offense if the other units can play at a high level. This isn't to say there isn't work to be done: obviously need to keeping getting better in those areas mentioned, but in truth even the parts of the team that are doing really well need to keep improving, as always. Nobody is perfect, and everyone can get better.

Hooker was a unicorn.

Joe makes a lot of good throws. He's better than all of Alabama's QBs.

He may be in just tired of seeing him struggle. I expected so much more

Oh please everybody has people that make dumb comments. I doubt Nico spends his time worrying what a fan or so called fan behind a keyboard is saying. If one did that they wouldn’t play anywhere. GBO
