Elliot is going to be a 5 star for sure.. or the rivals and scout recruiters are just plain biased against Tennesee..
He's got to be one of the top 25 players out there.. I would even say top 15..

He got a nice boost in the rankings after his season was over. Don't worry, he's gonna get a lot of love going into next season.

Jerry Meyer and Justin Young said Singleton and Williams should be 5 star players during the summer evaluation if they keep playing like this.

I'll bet Williams will be a top 15 player when it's all said and done as far as rankings go. He has great potential as a point guard at the next level.

The crazy thing is that Rob Lewis thinks we pass on him if we get Manny Harris this spring. I think if we get Harris and/or Tyler Smith. We take Williams, Singleton, and Juric in the next class.

Sorry, I shouldn't have said "us." I should have said Volquest when referring to the link. I also noticed Slick Rick was banned again. He's been whining all over Volquest about how "childish" the mods are here. Pretty amusing stuff.

What did Slick Rick get banned for? I hope it was the whole 3rd person thing...am I the only person that got tired of that after about 5min?

Has anyone seen video of Juric play? I have not, so I'm hoping he's not another Boomer Herndon...although BH progressed at Belmont...just not an SEC center. What are you thoughts on Juric?

I have seen him play 2 games... 1 being his sophomore year..

He was kinda timid scoring wise but that has improved a lot... but he was a beast when it came to rebounding and affecting shots.. good size already...

Has had issues with foul trouble and thats a big reason he's probably so timid offensively, the refs aren't all that used to calling a game with a guy that big. This past year he didn't have to take over the game, he had a great senior on his team... but this year will show what he's really got.. everything will be on him to make his team go

He said he has really worked on discipline when it comes to foul trouble. Personally, I think Beas Hamga is a better fit at center for us but the coaches don't think the same.

As for the Williams/Harris comment above, Rob didn't say that we wouldn't take Williams if we got Harris, but that Williams wouldn't come here likely if we landed Harris.

Harris is projected as a SG in college right..
Elliot Williams is projected as a PG in college..
I dont understand why Williams wouldnt come here if we took Harris.. They would make the best backcourt ever..

They would both be combo guards in Pearl's system. Both can handle the point, but are better as wings.

I'd take whomever we can get. If I had to choose, probably Harris because he can help next year. Either way, I still think we could land both if Harris does get released.

Can we really get Harris? That article said that he is meeting with Michigan coaches which probably means he will stay there. Is he giving us a visit?
