This is why Elon is by far and away my fav tech entrepreneur. With a simple question he so easily shows them to be the liars, con men and thieves that they are, while they sanctimoniously intone their need for more more swill from the public trough.
Reminds me of the Spartan response "if"

The bolded part sounds like a description of every religious leader since forever ever.

The US alone spends 165 billion on food stamps. That’s nearly 30x the amount claimed to be enough to solve world hunger.

Glad to see Elon call them out on their nonsense. The US government spends trillions annually and yet world hunger and poverty still exist. An additional 6 billion wouldn’t solve the problem

If only you realized the same was true of politicians. The difference is I can avoid insane and authoritarian religious leaders. The same can’t be said for the authoritarians who have no respect for the constitution, state rights, personal autonomy, etc

I do realize about politicians. The government regardless of who is in charge needs feeding like Audrey II and spends like a drunken sailor on a 48 hour leave.

When you’ve voted against the democrats what would you say was the main factor? Taxes? Critical race theory? Authoritarianism?

My votes against democrats were mostly regarding fiscal responsibility and an aversion to give away programs without strings.

My votes against republicans were mostly regarding civil rights.
My vote against Trump was for the same reason and the fact that he's an absolute horror of a human being that actually revels in the fact that he's a horror of a human being who's brainwashed a good portion of the populace.

My votes for independents were entirely regarding a complete disgust with both parties and there antics.

Bet you wouldn't mind having "Horrible Human Being" gas and food prices about right now...

I know I wouldn't.

I wonder though, wasn't the inflationary spike inevitable with the massive increase in federal spending, the wage spike, and the supply issues? Seems like it would have happened no matter who sat on the throne.

Biden chose to make gas/oil cost more. All the other inflation was inevitable though.
