Oh believe me I know. That's the point.
I love it when a Volnation member misuses a word, like quiff.
But I've known a few clever quiffs in my time.
Careful, you are going to sprain your brain coming up with these so incredibly clever quips. The genius of it all! Making fun of women's basketball on women's b-ball forum? Who would have ever thought of such a thing! ROFLMFAO! How do you come up with such inspired and original commentary? You are the Will Rogers of the modern age.
Just edited for "quip". Though my gaffe, I did learn that a "quiff" is a pretty cool looking hairstyle.

What is really intriguing is how we (and I feel fairly certain using that in a very broad sense) don't give a crap about women's basketball unless we are losing...
Those that don't give a crap unless the team is losing are voluntarily disengaging when the team is winning. Thus, they have no clue how many fans stay engaged. There are plenty of fans posting when the sun is shining and if attendance at the game is a barometer, more fans care when the team is winning. It's only the message board trolls who magically appear after a loss who suddenly "care".
