I will say one thing positive (I know it is shocking!) even if it is also a dig at Holly. At least Kyra acknowledges the fan's displeasure and promises that things will get better. She has an air of confidence that Holly is sorely lacking. Don't know about her quality as a coach, but she inspires a confidence and speaking ability that Holly is intensely missing.

The only fans that still have the capacity for patience have given up.

Thanks for the nice compliment. I'm sure there are others who post here who are being patient as well. In the end, there is nothing I could do about it anyway so I will have faith that things will work out in the end.

It takes a lot of effort. Not being all that intelligent, I have to put in more energy than most and even still people don't quite appreciate my humor.

What is really intriguing is how we (and I feel fairly certain using that in a very broad sense) don't give a crap about women's basketball unless we are losing. And, then, phone the neighbors and wake the kids, because there is a meltdown going on in K-Town.

On a side note, not a huge Will Rogers fan. So, thoughts?

Eight years since we beat a top 5 team on the road-8! How many years since we went to a final four? Nine? Warlick isn't responsible for the slide--that started several years ago under PS, but it is slowly getting worse under the current coaching regime. I'm tired of seeing a lack of passion, a lack of toughness, a lack of intelligence and a lack of fundamentals.

Those that don't give a crap unless the team is losing are voluntarily disengaging when the team is winning. Thus, they have no clue how many fans stay engaged. There are plenty of fans posting when the sun is shining and if attendance at the game is a barometer, more fans care when the team is winning. It's only the message board trolls who magically appear after a loss who suddenly "care".

Great point. Message boards are a very misleading indicator of how a larger fan base feels.

Right, because as I walk around town and have conversations with folks it's at the top of the list. I haven't heard a single person say a single thing outside of this site about the Lady Vols. Radio for a bit, but other than that we wanna know if kamara is coming back.
