Eminem slays new song

Berzerk is this albums "We made you" or "Real slim shady." Parts are extremely catchy and annoying and most rap fans cant stand it, but itll sell albums and hype the average listener.

Rap god is for people like us who love the subtlety, love the pace, and love seeing potential realized.

I don't disagree. What really kills it for me in Berzerk is the screeching background track. I'd be more interested to know how it would have been mixed with some other music.

Wow... I didn't even think about it. Did Eminem send a subliminal shot to Kendrick in his last verse ("Why be a king when you can be a god?")?

He's doing a song with Kendrick on the next album, and Kendrick is signed to Aftermath.

More than likely its a shot at Kanye and Jay Z's No Church in the Wild.

in case some of you dont know, he released another song yesterday.

Eminem feat Rihanna - Monster

It's good. Not an A+ but its a solid B or B+. Rihanna kills the hook.

If every song on this list is no worse than what we've heard so far, then it could easily be the rap album of the year.

I listened to the whole thing last night. Love game is great. Headlights is excellent. Rhyme or reason i like. But for me legacy is the best on it by far.

I finally see why he called it MMLP2 though. Because he's finishing the story from the original. Closure with his mom and kim. Slim shady comes back even on evil twin (and he flat calls himself top 4 all time).

Im gonna listen again today after work, but so far its better all around than yeezus IMO. And there's a lot more substance and songs.

I thought Yeezus was pretty terrible.

Yeezus had two just damn amazing songs that almost everyone agreed on, then one or two really good ones, and the rest sucked balls. But it's still the hype machine it was, and he'll have to beat it for rap album of the year.

Got the Album yesterday (love knowing people lol) and it's nothing short of AMAZING! I love how he threw in some samples of his old music and mixed it in. This is a very brilliant job by Marshall. If I had ten thumbs, they would all be up!

You could get it a week early on the interwebs, it was streaming.

I have it on Spotify. Been listening to it at work most of the day. There's a lot of fluff.

Same here. I downloaded it last week. Not got the bonus songs though.

I still think Legacy is the best song on there, that hook is just perfect. Kinda disappointed they didn't have Skylar Gray do it instead of for *******.

But, Love Games is really growing on me. Kendrick matches Eminem almost step for step on that, and that beat is not something easy.

I downloaded it off of hiphopstan and got the bonus tracks, if you still need them.

I'll honestly end out buying it probably. Or just Youtube them all. I like to support artists I really enjoy, even if they are multi millionaires.

listening to some of it right now.

Like "bad guy", especially that he brought back Stan

not sure about "rhyme or reason." Cool that he does it over the song, and its ok.

don't like "so much better"

"Survival" is ok. Like the guitar riff in the background. somewhat catchy

Legacy is not bad. Sad/mad/old em

I think the best part so far is the voice mail kendrick raps in love games. I may have dated a crazy redhead like that once.

It's most certainly not a shot at Kendrick like other's were suggesting.

The closest thing we have that that fits is the chorus to No Church in the Wild. Add that to the fact that Kanye's album was Yeezus and Em is proclaiming himself to be THE rap god (Odin to Thor) then it's really the best fit we have. Unless he flat comes out and says otherwise I really don't see a better connection to make.

Again, its all up to interpretation, but it is still the best fit we have without him flat saying who its about (and nobody else is really make an argument for or against anyone), and we know its about someone. The only other possible reference it could be is to himself when he says "Make me king" on lose yourself, but I prefer to think it'd be more current and a lot more obvious than one phrase on his best song ever.
