The bigger picture here is the message to high school kids with potential . If you are a positive kid with potential and willing to work hard, this staff unlike other SEC powerhouse Staffs will take a chance on 2 or 3 star and walk-on talent.

This kid is fast, I think he will end up being a great corner in a couple of years.

Jakob Johnson gets my vote for sleeper, He just looks like a football player, the coaches really wanted him for some reason.

nah man every school has 2-3 star players and walk ons. the problem is that we pay more attention to "diamonds in the rough" due to our desperate need of talent. we've had so many "diamonds in the rough" players the last four years like T Smith, V Dallas, C Harris, etc. that i hate that phrase now. i am ready for diamonds ready to shine.

I was thinking the same thing about his wingspan.
He has speed, is coachable, developed skills, no reason why he shouldn't become an all SEC DB

They also wanted and got a volleyball player.
Perplexes me but will be interesting to see
what they make out of him.
